Administration

Kyle Vierra - Principal

Early Life

I grew up in Moss Landing, CA, nestled in beautiful Monterey County, and graduated from North Monterey County High School. Following my passion for education, I earned a BA in Elementary Education from Sterling College in central Kansas. Recently, I completed my MA in Administrative Leadership at National University.

Career

During my college years in Kansas, I balanced academics with my love for football, earning multiple academic All-American awards during my four-year tenure on the field. After graduation, I began my teaching career focusing on 6th-grade math and science. After three fulfilling years in Kansas, I returned home to support my family and found myself drawn to the lively atmosphere of junior high education. Following a move to Redding on a whim, I spent several years at Mistletoe School before pursuing my MA and transitioning into school administration. I've had the privilege of serving Boulder Creek and Parsons Junior High for the past three years as an assistant principal and am now thrilled to be rejoined at Parsons as the Principal.

Life Outside School

In 2020, I married my best friend, Sarah. Our household is joyfully chaotic with four large dogs who keep us on our toes. Our greatest happiness comes from exploring the outdoors together through mountain biking and hiking, weight lifting, and activities that fuel our sense of adventure.

Chelsea Cambronne - Assistant Principal

Early Life

I was born and raised in a small rural town in Minnesota and graduated from Tracy Area High School. My passion for teaching began early, spending time helping in my grandmother’s classroom after school. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education, with a minor in Community Health, from Minnesota State University. In 2008, I moved from Fargo, North Dakota, to Redding to complete my student teaching internship at University Preparatory School. I quickly fell in love with Redding’s year-round sunshine and abundance of outdoor adventures, and I’ve been proud to call it home ever since.

Career

I began my teaching career in 2008 and went on to earn my Multiple Subject credential, spending the past 16 years primarily teaching 5th–8th grades across a variety of subject areas. In 2018, I furthered my education by earning a Master of Science in Applied Leadership along with my Administrative Services Credential. I have had the privilege of serving as both Assistant Principal and Principal for Redding School District’s summer school program, which led to a full-time leadership role with Enterprise School District as the Assistant Principal at Mistletoe School.

Life Outside of School

Outside of school, I love spending time with friends and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. Given my Minnesota roots, I have a passion for bass fishing and try to get out on the water as often as I can. I also enjoy weightlifting, golfing, and traveling whenever possible. In addition, I love flying back to Minnesota several times a year to see my family and spend time with my seven nieces and nephews.

I am honored to be joining Parsons this school year and look forward to a great year ahead.

Stacey Bourget - Assistant Principal

Early Life

I was born in Crescent City, CA and moved to Redding when I was 3. I began Kindergarten at Mistletoe Elementary School and in 4th grade, moved to Southern California. I spent many years there and then moved back to Redding my sophomore year of high school. I graduated from Enterprise High School and then later attended Grand Canyon University to earn my B.S. degree in Secondary Education.

Career

I began teaching in 2014, and early on, I had the opportunity to teach both middle and high school. Though I went to college with the intention of teaching high school long term, I found that I genuinely loved the middle school students and chose to remain teaching in the middle school environment. For the last 4 years, I have taught 8th grade English/Language Arts at Boulder Creek. In 2024 made the decision to transition to administration and recently received my administrative credential through the SCOE Leadership Academy and I am currently completing my M.A. in Educational Leadership. This year I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal at Parsons Junior High.

Life Outside School

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Brian, and I have a son and daughter, and together we love camping, going to the lake, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Northern California. We also enjoy riding dirt bikes; our son races when he can, and our daughter is passionate about competitive dance. Our household is always on the go! We share our home with two dogs who add even more fun and energy to our lives. I also have a passion for travel and make it a goal to explore a new international destination each year, especially places known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
