Early Life

I was born and lived most of my younger years in Missouri, just south of St. Louis. I moved to Anderson, CA in the middle of 8th grade. Anderson High School, home of the Cubs, is where I attended high school. I was a 3 sport athlete throughout junior high and high school - playing football, basketball, and baseball. I was on several baseball All-Star teams growing up. Although I live in California, I have been and will always be a St. Louis Cardinals fan!

Shasta College - AA in Business Administration

Simpson University - BA in Liberal Arts, Single-Subject Credential for Social Sciences with supplemental in English and Computer Science, Administrative Credential and MA in Education.

Brandi Stone- Assistant Principal

Early Life

I grew up in Bodega Bay. My father was a commercial fisherman when I was young and fished out of Halfmoon Bay, Tomales, and Bodega Bay. He sold his boat and we move to Santa Rosa when I was nine. I went to Ursuline High School and my senior year I spent the summer abroad as an exchange student in Australia.

Education

I attended Western State University in Gunnison Colorado for my undergrad and majored in Sociology. I completed my Master's Degree in Education through Lesley University in Massachusetts. I earned my Principal's Certificate from Denver University in Colorado.

Career

I taught Elementary education in Colorado for many years. Worked as a teacher coach curriculum specialist before going into administration. I moved to back to California in 2015 to begin a new chapter in my life with my family.

Personal Life

I have a wonderful family of two young men and a husband. We have been married since 1999. He is an author and has published several urban fiction novels. We enjoy hiking, traveling, and spend time with our family which live in Oregon and Hawaii.
